ABOUT ME
What fuels you? For me, it's inspiring others to live their happiest, healthiest life. Farm to Fork started as a passion project that has turned into a dream beyond my wildest imagination. Here's a little bit of my back story:
I'm a fourth generation Kern County resident who moved to Bakersfield after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin back in 2017. I spent nearly three years as a local news anchor, drawn to stories highlighting the importance and triumph of local agriculture.

After realizing I spent much of my time outside of work researching wellness tips and developing my own repertoire of healthy recipes (that actually taste good) I decided to use my storytelling skills to share what I love with others.

This includes agriculture, another huge piece of my heart. My dad is a farmer and I'm also marrying into a farming family. Growing up, being able to cook with local and seasonal ingredients was an absolute blessing. Knowing a commodity crop from its seed to the plate is a beautiful, full circle success. From this mindset was born "Farm to Fork by Ally Triolo," a weekly segment on Bakersfield's local NBC news station, KGET-17.

Every Friday, I share healthy, delicious recipes made with locally grown produce, and teach the community about the bountiful ingredients grown in California's Central Valley.

Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me, I'm so glad you're here!

Lots of love,
Ally Triolo
